So were 6 games into the Barclays Premier League 2012-13 season and what can we see so far?, Well at the busine s ends of the table (top 3, bottom 3) we can see Chelsea are in first place with 16 pts, second behind them are surprisingly for some Everton with 13 pts and in third are Manchester United also with 12pts. At the bottom of the table in 20th place are QPR with 2 pts , 19th place Reading also with 2pts and with 3 pts is 18th place Norwich.So what is there to say on this?Well I think we can see that Chelsea definitely have no doubt that they can push on to mount a serious challenge for the title this season after being bolstered with the attacking propositions that they have purchased this summer with the lights of Eden Hazard (who has been a star performer so far), Oscar , Marin and not forgetting Victor Moses. I definitely think that they have the squad to go all the way and win the league or at least push the two Manchester clubs all the way.Which brings me onto Manchester United who are lying in 3rd place, as a United fan myself I am personally fairly disappointed with our performances this season and feel we have definitely been incredibly lucky in the majority of our games so far Kendall Graveman Jersey this season and could have so closely been around the mid table positions.2 lo ses so early on in the season is really not good enough for a club like united and we only very narrowly avoided a 3rd lo s to Southampton and a 4th against Liverpool which we were admittedly incredibly lucky to get the result we did. A lot of work needed for the rest of the season.The surprise team so far in my view would be 2nd placed Everton, I dont however think they will be pushing for the top 4 unfortunately as I do feel their star player this season so far Maroune Fellaini will be leaving in the January transfer window. Fellaini single handedly destroyed Manchester United in the first game of the season and he has continued this form on into the last few games.My prediction for Everton this season is 7th place. Good luck for the rest of the season Everton fans!Moving down to the bottom of the table in 20th place we have QPR who have definitely been the underachievers of the season considering the squad that they have a sembled over the past year or so, with the likes Jose Canseco Jersey of R.Madrids Granero, Julio Cesar arriving from Inter Milan and has been one of the top 5 goalkeepers in the world in my opinion during the past few years, the determined Ji-Sung Park from Manchester United, Jose Bosingwa from Chelsea, Junior Hoilett from Blackburn, Fabio also from Manchester united on a season long loan and Andy Johnson who unfortunately is ruled out once again for the most of the season. With players like this in their squad this team should be Terry Steinbach Jersey no where near the bottom of the table, this is at least a top 10 squad on paper. With the money spent on the team and the pre sure upon Mark Hughes you have to wonder just how long he can last in the job. In my opinion I feel QPR will eventually get going once they get a win under their belt and finish around 14th place but it will definitely be a struggle.Moving on to 19th place Reading, In my opinion they have been incredibly unlucky, they were the team that I fancied to be the world beaters of the premier league this season as Swansea were last season. I totally agree with Brian McDermots approach to the summer busine s he completed, more or le s sticking with the squad that was promoted which in turn should have made the squad a more likely team to stay up as opposed to a team that has been put together with promotion money such as teams that buy 9 or 10 players as soon as they are promoted. Pavel Pogrebnyak was a great signing by the Reading bo s but he has been very hit and mi s so far. Reading have only managed to score 6 goals so far this season but then so have 12th place Stoke City, so therefore questions have to be asked about their defence which has already let in 11 goals, this Oakland Athletics Jersey definitely should be dealt with over the January transfer window. My prediction for reading is going to be relegation I am afraid, I feel that the squad is just not made for the Premier League and doubt that there is very much money still there to improve the squad.Finally Norwich lie in 18th place having had a miserable start to the season so far having drawn 3 and lost 3 winning no games, Norwich also have the lowest amount of goals scored so far level with QPR at 4 goals. Grant Holt is not in the form he was in last season and this in my opinion is either down to second season syndrome or most likely the departure of Paul Lambert, I like many others believed that Lambert was the only man who was going to be able to have so much succe s with this Norwich squad, now that hes left there seems to be a feeling of emptine s within the team whenever I see them play. My prediction for Norwich unfortunately is going to have to be a 18th place relegation along with fellow relegation strugglers Reading, I feel this because the squad is not of a mid table Premier League standard and I feel that the only reason they finished so highly last season is because of the excitement of being in the Premier League and because of the motivation received from Paul Lambert.Elsewhere in the table Liverpool have been largely disappointing but were extremely unlucky to lose out to Manchester United. They won at Norwich at the weekend and so they should begin to pick up winning games from now on until the end of the season. Again I dont expect them to be pushing for the top 4 and will struggle to finish in the top 6. Also I feel Newcastle will not finish as well as they did last season based on the results so far this season, Demba Ba reportedly wants a move away from the club and this could cause Stephen Piscotty Jersey a huge problem for the club as both Demba Ba and Papi s Ci se have been integral to the succe s of the team last season. I finally also believe that Tottenham will have a good shot at a top 4 finish this season as they now seem to be coming together, lets not forget that they signed Clint Dempsey and Mou sa Dembele over the summer, they are both great players and with the squad Tottenham have they should be finishing in the top 4 of the table, maybe this is the season that Andre Villas Boas gets it right in the Premier League?Let me know if you agree or disagree, Thanks for reading!
