All Animal Crossing games have featured plants, and they've all had a significant role to play. Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the latest entry in the series, places a greater emphasis on flora than ever before. If you have an island, there are countless ways to decorate it with a variety of flowers and plants. You can use your imagination to create beautiful gardens and landscapes with a variety of plants, trees, bushes, and flowers. New Horizons' plants are thoroughly described in this guide. You'll learn where to look and why each plant is there.
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, trees are the most common plant. Trees are useful in many ways. To get things out of them you may chop them down, you can get bugs and fruit growing on it, and you can even shake it to get things out. If you want to go mushroom hunting in the fall, you'll need trees. One type of mushroom can only be found around tree stumps, and that's the only place you'll find it.
Digging up trees and putting them in your inventory is possible, but it costs energy points. For those who like to relocate trees without having to chop them down and start again, this method is ideal.
INTERACTIONS
Trees can be used for a variety of purposes, including gathering resources, hunting for pests, and so on. The primary interactions are:
SHAKING
It is possible to drop goods from any sort of tree by shaking it. It's easy to shake a tree. You can simply go up to it and press A to have the objects fall to the ground before your eyes. You then need to walk up to the ACNH Item and hit the Y button to pick it up, and it will appear in your inventory.
Shaking trees primarily yields fruit, but you can also obtain other objects by shaking trees that don't provide fruit. Coins, furniture, and branches are all possible tree-dropping Animal Crossing Items (used in DIY recipes).
It's a good idea to maintain the area around your trees clear if you wish to shake goods from them, such as fruit or other resources. It will descend and disappear if there is no room for it.
Nesting WASPS
There is a risk of wasp nests falling out of trees when you shake them. If this happens, you have two options: either have your wasp net ready or flee into the nearby structure. If a wasp nest falls on you, you'll make a frightened face and hear loud music as the enraged wasps chase you. A sting in the face from a wasp swarm is not something you want to experience.
You'll pass out and reappear outside your house if stung by wasps for the second time without curing the first one, just like if you were attacked by a scorpion or tarantula.
You can either buy medicine from Nook's Cranny or prepare your own to treat a wasp sting. With four clumps of weed, you can make your own medicine, and one wasp nest is all you need. To use the drug, simply select it from your inventory and select it from the first shelf. The sting will go away on its own the next day if you don't have access to medication.
Wasps have their benefits despite their reputation as a pest. As part of your Critterpedia and museum, wasps are an essential bug. However, you can still pick up the wasp nest after it has been stung. DIY recipes can benefit from wasp nests in addition to medicine-making. After a wasp experience, they're worth picking up for a reasonable price.
However, catching wasps is not a simple task. Only if you're prepared can you successfully shake a nest out of a tree. Wasps are swift and deadly. In an ideal world, you'd have a net that's ready to go. Be ready when the wasp nest erupts. Position yourself since they'll move quickly. Swing your net at the swarm just before it reaches you. Inspect your surroundings to make sure no obstacles stand in the way of your progress.
Your island is home to a random number of wasps, so be careful when you shake trees!
CHOPPING
You can also chop down trees in addition to shaking them. Chopping trees has two purposes: obtaining wood and causing physical harm to the environment. You need an axe to chop down a tree. In order to chop down trees, you must have an ordinary or gold axe. The stone and flimsy axes can only be used to harvest wood, not to hack down a tree.
It's a simple task to chop down a tree. You don't have to do anything other than face a tree with an axe and click the A button. Each time you want to take a swing at the tree, simply press the button. Use a standard or golden axe three times on a tree to bring it tumbling down. A stump is left when a tree is felled.
Watch how many times you use the axe on a tree if you don't want to hack it down for the timber. Think about acquiring an extra stone or wooden axe for cutting down trees, and then use the usual one to chop down the rest of the trees.
