The first of a series of extremely challenging battles that call for a great deal of coordination between you and your teammates, the Legion Raid that takes place in US East Vykas Lost Ark Gold's opening mission is named Valtan. You and your allies can band together into groups of up to eight people in order to take on Valtan, a two-part boss that is intimidating, powerful, and can take a significant number of tries to defeat.
If you want to take on Gate Two of Valtan, you need to have already defeated Gate One of the dungeon first. Only then will you be able to access this battle. You should equip yourself with Time Stop Potions, Corrosive Bombs, and Destruction Bombs before engaging in combat with Valtan. Lost Ark Gold Azena is also strongly suggested that you bring Dark Grenades with you.
Sidereal Skills
The Sidereal Skills possessed by Valtan are identical to those possessed by Gate One of Valtan. You, as the raid leader, have access to Sidereal Skills, which allow you to summon allies who cast powerful effects for your team and allow you to do so. You can view this character's skills in the top-left corner of the screen. When the meter located beneath your skills reaches its maximum, your group's leader will be able to use a Sidereal Skill.
Control and Z are the hotkeys for Thirain.
Thirain makes his appearance on the battlefield and inflicts significant damage upon the boss. If you are having trouble meeting the DPS check during the final phase of the fight against Valtan, then using this ability is important.
Wei Hotkey: Ctrl + X
Wei inflicts a great deal of confusion damage on the boss. In Gate Two of Valtan, Wei does not play as significant of a role, and it is highly unlikely that you will use Wei in this fight.
Ctrl and C is the hotkey for Balthorr.
-
A ring of bright light materializes around Balthorr
-
Everyone inside the circle will receive protection from damage and immunity to being pushed
-
When playing this game, it is common practice to make use of Balthorr in order to increase your team's chances of surviving a variety of different patterns
Armor Break is the Tower Tackle technique.
At the beginning of the raid, Valtan will have two layers of armor, both of which must be broken using Weak Point Damage. If you are unable to break the armor in time, the damage that he takes will be significantly reduced. However, the only time you will be able to break through Valtan's armor is after he has rendered himself helpless by running into a wall.
During the first phase of the battle, Valtan will build up his momentum and get ready to charge headfirst into a player of his choosing at random. As he begins his charge, assemble with the rest of your team in front of one of the many walls, and then make a hasty exit as he begins his charge. Since Valtan is unable to change course, he will crash into the wall while running full speed ahead. After that, he will be rendered helpless, allowing you to inflict Weak Point Damage on him. After that, Valtan will randomly decide when to charge and tackle your team, and he will do so at random intervals.
During this part of the mechanic, you will want to make sure that you have some of your Weak Point Damage saved up. You can boost the effectiveness of the Weak Point Damage by making use of a Corrosive Bomb. In addition to that, you should throw out Destruction Bombs, which deal Weak Point Damage as well. You will be able to deal more damage once Valtan's armor finally gives way, which will happen in due time.
This mechanic is active until the player has x130 health. After this phase is over, Valtan will have the ability to skill tackle players at random during the remainder of the fight. On the other hand, you will have the ability to rebut him.
Axes That Can Break Armor
During the Armor Break gameplay mechanic, Valtan will periodically soar into the air and become untargetable during these brief moments. Whenever this takes place, your team will be under constant attack from axes for a period of several seconds. After this, a massive area-of-effect attack will come down, dealing significant damage to anyone who is caught in the explosion. If you take damage from axes, it will be moderate, and you will also be stunned for a short period of time. If you are cornered by an axe, there is a good chance that you won't be able to make a quick escape.
It is possible to avoid getting hit by the axes if you direct your team to specific locations around the map. You and the other members of the team should proceed to walk in a circle. This will help to condense the area over which the axes are spread, making it easier for you to avoid being hit by them.
You can head to the location where Valtan has broken a wall if you want to avoid the massive AoE attack. You can avoid the area-of-effect attack by going to the spot where the wall has been broken because there is a small safe spot there. You have the option of using a Time Stop Potion instead, in the event that you are unable to reach the safe location.
The axes mechanic can be done randomly by Valtan at any time during the remainder of the raid.
Instant Kill
This mechanic has a starting HP value of x130. The attack that Valtan will carry out consists of two separate axe strikes delivered to the ground. Players will perish instantly if they are hit by the second attack in this mechanic. It will not be possible for you to stop this attack with a Time Stop Potion.
There are two different ways to complete this mechanic's requirements. During the Armor Break phase, whenever Valtan destroys a wall, the Armor Break phase, two blue orbs will fall to the ground. During this phase, these blue orbs will shield you from any attacks with an axe.(If you are hit by the first axe attack, your protection will be removed, so you must avoid it.)To protect themselves from the second attack, all of the players must grab an orb.
The simplest approach is to make use of the Sidereal Skill known as Balthorr, which gives players a buff that allows them to better withstand the second attack that is being directed at them. Although this method is simpler, you should consider learning the first method instead so that you can use the Sidereal Skill: Thirain skill, which will allow you to deal a greater amount of damage.
Pillars
This mechanic begins with x110 Health Points. Valtan conjures a pillar in each of the cardinal directions: north, south, east, and west. As Valtan launches himself into the air, a massive yellow attack indicator will appear below him. If you want to avoid this attack, you should take cover behind one of the pillars. After this, an attack indicator that looks like a red cone will zero in on a player at random and begin attacking them. The red attack indicator will stop tracking the player as they wiggle around, which the player should notice as soon as it happens. This indicates that Valtan will launch an attack in the near future.
Position the attack indicator in the space between two pillars, and then either make a hasty retreat behind one of the pillars or exit the danger zone to use a time stop potion. There will be two occurrences of this. When Valtan attacks a player for a second time, allies can engage him in combat because he is targeting the same player. In the event that Valtan collides with a pillar, the pillar will detonate, dealing a significant amount of damage.
When this particular mechanic has run its course, the pillars will detonate.
The First Break in the Map
When Valtan reaches x85 HP, he will launch himself into the air. After a short while, a red attack indicator will show up on the North or South side, depending on which side you're on. When Valtan lands on the attack indicator, it will cause the map to shatter. Gather together in the middle, and proceed towards the portion of the map that has not been completely destroyed.
From this vantage point, Valtan's normal attacks have the potential to knock you off the map. If you are playing on the side of the map that is exposed and you are hit by an attack, it is highly likely that you will fall off the edge of the map and die instantly.
The second Pillars mechanic will be carried out by Valtan once he has destroyed the stage and made his way back to the middle of the board. Follow the same instructions as the first Pillars mechanic, but keep in mind that the map is broken, so the area in which you can move around is significantly smaller.
